The man behind one of Malaysia’s best-known property developers, Mah Sing Group Berhad, is none other than Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum. A man sang in high regard for his vision, creative drive, and strategic risk-taking, he had grown Mah Sing from its humble beginnings as a plastics trading firm into the prominent entity we know today.
Tan Sri Leong is the Mah Sing’s Founder and Group Managing Director. When it comes to sheer energy, focus, and drive, no one in the company can compete with the founder. Under his vision, the Group is able to grow at breakneck speed due to Tan Sri Leong’s skill in taking huge calculated risks. As of 30th June 2020, the Group has remaining landbank of 2,005 acres with remaining gross development value and unbilled sales totaling approximately RM24.64billion, which can provide earnings visibility for at least eight years.
