Judging Criteria

Below are the judging criteria as the various pointers for judges to evaluate the entries on ASEAN Property Developer Awards to make sure that the best entry wins. Judges will score entries for entered category based on the following judging criteria:

Judging Process

    Form Submission

    Start the nomination process by completing the submission form with your project and registration details. A confirmation notification will be sent upon registration

  • Step

    Entry Review

    Our judges will evaluate the suitability and credibility of your submission based on six judging criteria.

  • Step

    Site Visit

    Selected nominees may participate in a guided site visit, where judges will conduct an in-depth evaluation before making their final decision

Dato’ Sr Peter Tan

Founding Director of Perunding Kos T & K Sdn Bhd (PKT)

Dato Sr Peter Tan graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1978 with a Bachelor of Building, which he then utilized working for the Victorian Public Works Department in Australia, specializing in Colleges and Hospital Projects, before joining Peter Slattery & Co. where he rose to become a Director within the company.

He then returned to Malaysia in 1991, where he founded PKT with his partners, and has then advanced PKT to the size that it is today, which handles projects of various sectors and magnitudes, ranging from high-rise apartments, commercial buildings, hospitals, retail, office fitouts, factories, logistic hubs and data centers.

He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Malaysia Australia Business Council and a Council Member in the International Chapter, Asia Region of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. He also holds a CQS qualification for BQSM, RISM and AIQS, as well as being a Fellow in the AIQS.

Co-Founder & Group CEO of REI Group of Company

A co-founder and Group CEO of strategic marketing consultancy firm REI Group of Companies. He holds an MBA from L. Bocconi University in Milan, Italy (Macro Economy), a Master in Marketing and Communication and a PhD in Strategy Marketing and Mass Communication both from University of Michigan, US. He is also an Advisory Council Member of GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group) and member of the Malaysian Proptech Association.

Martin R. Haeger

Director of HL Design Group

Mr. Martin Haeger is the director of HL Design, a British architect who has been residing in Asia since 1990. He holds a post graduate degree in architecture from Edinburgh University and worked with the renowned Skidmore, Owings and Merrill firm in the United States before moving to Singapore. Haeger recently appeared as a judge on the first season of The Apartment interior design reality show.

Managing Director of T-A Square

A graduate from Melbourne University, Stephanie returned to Malaysia with her postgraduate in architecture in sustainable and green design. Stephanie has practised her profession in boutique architectural firms and has developed a keen eye for Australian aesthetics especially in residential buildings.

Principal of T-A Square

A holder of Bachelor Architecture at the University of Malaya in 2000. After multiple short stints at the beginning of his professional career, he joined Garis Architects in 2003 where he was involved in several notable award-winning mixed developments and commercial planning.
